In-line Editing in Salesforce Reports

Did you hear the news? There is a beta feature in Summer 21 that allows you to in-line edit data in Salesforce Reports. This is the introduction of a game-changer for managing your Salesforce data.

You will need to contact Salesforce support and ask them to enable the feature for you.

Inline editing is only available for text, numeric, and checkbox fields initially. But knowing Salesforce, I am sure that other field types are coming!

Once Support Enables the beta feature, you can Go to Reports & Dashboard Settings in Setup and check the box to Enable Inline Editing in reports as shown below.
